Film Festival

International Conference and Student Film Festival

Budapest was the location for the conference/festival. There was no red carpet or celebrity hype, just history and historical movies which provoke thoughts and passions, provide information, raise questions and search for possible answers.

The specific objective behind this activity was to encourage meetings of historians, experts, and the general audience to discuss about the communist past and history after 1945.  These reciprocal exchanges of experience produced a real multilateral interaction and promote the cooperation of citizens and encourages the intercultural dialogue. We seek to foster and present films that provide a good base for any further discussions. For the films and lectures we ensured interpreters. Some topics from the conference: Democracy vs Dictatorship, 70 Years After WWII in Europe, Distinct Iron Curtains, etc. Target groups: citizens, general audience, youth, experts.
